About This Experience

Hosted at Alma Cuba , an independently operated creative studio in Old Havana, this educational workshop provides structured instruction in fabric and paper marbling techniques while facilitating authorized, meaningful interaction with independent Cuban designers. The program is designed to support a women-led creative community through direct engagement, skills transfer, and economic support to self-employed Cuban artisans working outside the state sector, in full alignment with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Support for the Cuban People general license (31 CFR §515.574).
